Change the M-L group picture?

Oh, come the fuck on. Kasama is not reactionary. The politics of most of the people on that website are absolutely awful and anti-communist, but that doesn't make them reactionary. They're not calling for society to regress into primitivism or any kind of oligarchy. I think you've used the term so loosely that you have no idea what it actually means.

Personal attacks? You'd better be kidding. My attitude doesn't fluctuate based on how I view someone as comradely. I adapt my statements based on the situation and if you're calling Kasama reactionary, then I'm going to tell you your position is stupid. Kasama is a lot of things. It's anti-communist and it's pointless, but it isn't reactionary. As shown by your retraction, you understand this. Despite the fact that we are comrades, if you began defending an idiotic position, I'd call you on it.

That single sentence seemed to be more personal than a simple critique. Hence my objection to what felt personal.

There are anti-communist socialists out there. Even bourgeois libralism is anti-communist but surely it isnt reactionary.

Since I started this thread/vote on March, the results (so far) are:

Nay: 4 votes

So, for now, it appears that I have a democratic consensus to allow Stalin's presence among our ML group avatar. If any more votes come to be that then state the contrary, I'll then change the picture back to only Marx, Engels, and Lenin.

I am against any cult of personality, there are plenty of negative examples in history. The pictures of Marx, Engels and Lenin are a symbol of a doctrine which they founded, in contrast to Stalin. So I vote NAY.

To label randomly is reactionary.

I've already changed it to a Marx-to-Stalin picture that closely resembles the already well-liked former Marx-to-Lenin picture.

Sorry, I only did so because, although most wished to add Stalin, most also showed favoring of the former design of this group's avatar. So I just incorporated both to try and please all as best as possible.

yo TVM, could you at least make the background the same color as the board or make the background non-existent so it would be able to fit over it well?
