Paris Commune Turns Into Full French Socialist Revolution

What if the Commune of Paris turned into a full French Socialist Revolution that succeeded in overthrowing the regime?

Would it have spread to other countries? Would it have stayed in France? Would Britain have tried to attack? And how would this have effected France's war with Germany(which was still going on at the time and France ultimately lost)?

After the French Revolution, the French citizenry feverishly killed people with any ties to nobility, so I can imagine that it would do the same to the bourgeois. As for your questions, I think that as a Capitalist nation, Britain would attack, because during that time, they thought that anything to do with Communism was EVIL. I don't know how it would have affected the war, but if Britain decided to attack, and Germany launched more offensives, then they would have lost badly, with the Brits attacking from the air and the Germans attacking on the ground. I don't think that it would spread too particularly far if they were being attacked by supercapitalist nations, but if they weren't being attacked by England and the like, then I think that the socialist ideals would spread fast, due to the economic woes of the time.

Britain never had any air power in 1871. Yes they might get involved, say with a naval invasion, but I think the people would have the moral of the soldiers in the original French revolution, and would thus start to kick invading troops out.
