Why do we not use this forum more?

Why it is that, most of us seem to be in the main, forum? All we get is running battle, in which we most defend are selves and Stalin. Even the most simply questions, turn into debates of Marxist-Leninist vs. them. We would get more done, if we would use the Marxist-Leninists forum.

I'm here as well, and am thoroughly feeling your pain Comrade Stalin.

Everytime a Marxist-Leninist asks a question or makes a comment on this forum they are quickly ridiculed by idealists and revisionists that frequently troll this forum.

I'm currently thinking about starting a local Marxist-Leninist group in my town but have no clue where to begin. I'm not even sure if there is other Marxists where I live! I'm tired of being a lone voice where I live. Any suggestions?

Well if your plan for a local group I would try to find at least one more comrade. From there you simply try begin advertising your group, Perhaps a class on the fundamentals of Marxist-Leninism.

The video is actually rather sarcastic. Gorbatsjov is seen "saving" them and bringing them into the wonderful capitalist society. I don't think these people necessarily hate Stalin or love Gorbatsjov really. This song was included in the game Stalin vs. Martians, go figure.

Yes, in fact if they see the word Marxist-Leninist any where they troll us the second they see it. The question still stands why we don't us this fourm more. Right now Comrade Charles Xavier is working on a Marxist-Leninist fourm. But not enought of us are on this fourm to help him.

Yeah, recently I've just started posting and this place is riddled with Left-Communists. I think it would be great to have a sort of "safe-haven" from these sorts of people in order to facilitate a less hostile learning environment.

The thing is, a lot of the Marxist-Leninists seem to be busy actually organizing hence why they don't have much time to deal with all the tomfoolery that goes on here. its unfortunate, but that is the reality.

You can't have just a marxist leninist group, A major component of the Marxism and Leninism is the party. Marxism-Leninism is not a discussion, its about getting the dictatorship of the proletariat established and improving the conditions of the working class.

Yes the party is an major component, which last I checked need to be made up of people who could teach the masses what wrong with the world and how to fixs it. The problem with this fourm is that the level of trolling stops us from teaching anything at all. Just look at some of the questions I have posted, most of them have been trashed, with few of them answed at all.

Its not about educating the masses, its about making things happen. politics is not a religion for converting people, Its about putting people in motions and fighting for change.

But last I checked, it was the goal of communism to gain mass support and not to force it's own will on the people. If we foced our will on the mass, communism and revisionism would be one and the same, and we would be turning communism into a religion. Look at how many people, have had religion forced on them. At least under communism, you can question the teaching, but first you need to teach them, in order for them to be guestioned.

The party of course has to educate the proletariat, every Marxist-Leninist knows that the vanguard would be doomed from the very beginning if it fought alone without mass support, but the party is not only there to have discussions and to teach the masses, it must lead them, or as CX said, the party has to "put people in action". If the party just preaches its teachings but is not a vanguard party which actively support and leads the proletariat in its struggle, this struggle is also lost from the beginning.

If you're looking for serious answers to political questions, sadly enough this site shouldn't be your first choice. Read everything you can find from the great theoreticians and revolutionary leaders, don't limit yourself, and read what the M-L parties have to say. This is just a message board and is populated with many who couldn't care less about revolution and others who just enjoy playing games. The serious are outnumbered. Threads get closed and trashed because of how the rules are set up; so don't get discouraged.

This seems to me the many problem with these types of online fourms. Yet it is one of the best ways to get in contact with one other and share ideals.

It should be, but there's too much unknown. You don't know who these people really are, how sincere they are, how active they are, and especially not what their motives are. You can think some folks are your friends on here, but they're not, they are simply playing online manipulation games. Of course there are many good people on this site but it's not easy to work out who they are. I became a socialist because, finally, I found a movement where it wasn't all about me, or you, but us. Sadly, this isn't true of a lot of people here. I don't see this in my Party at all!
The best place to share ideas and meet people is through a political party, not a website where some 'communists' may not believe in or understand any of it. I wonder how many aspiring socialists lost all hope for the movement by getting to know some of the people on here. I'm not saying this isn't a great site - it can be. But it's not any substitute for a party where you get to know people for real.

This is ture, real work is done in a political party, but they all run into the same problem of only being regional based. You can see that in the fact that many party have the name of the country they are from, like the communist party of the USA . The great thing about online is that it gives you a international way of meeting people.
