I've recently enquired about the young members officer post for my Union (Unison for my sins), and after speaking to the branch secretary have been told I will be voted into the committee at the next meeting. I was just wondering if anyone had any useful books/links/advice on trade unions in general and on being a steward? I've read various things about unions but it would be nice if someone had a highly recommended book or two?
