There is a Dutch esperanto group: http://www.esperanto-nederland.nl/bonvenon/index.php Maybe others can add national groups aswell, so there is an easy way to join a group and learn about the language.

I'm currently using Livemocha, which is a mostly free website. A bit repetitive, but seems to be quite useful.
