The upcoming World Congress of the Fourth (Trotskyist) International is considering major documents on climate change. The FI considers the question of ecology and climate change as a crucial to the continued existence of life on earth. I would ask folks to look at the comments from Michael Lowy (2nd link) which offer a Marxist approach to building a new society based on justice and sustainability.
