I've been a bit busy the past few days, I've only had a couple of hours to work on this so not everything is functioning exactly as it should, I'll set up some RSS feeds for the blog when I can be bothered. I've got some good hosting sorted out and I'll buy a .com domain when we finalise the name (RevLeft Paper? RevLeft Press?).

    Click.

    Looking good, looking good.

I would be interested to know what peoples thoughts are on changing the layout to a more common media style by using columns rather than completely left to right accross the page.

Will each issue consist just the front page?

I agree that we should have a general/headlines front page but in each issue there will be a wide variety of subjects covered, it could be worth while for each issue to have links to the more spcific issues that there is no room for on the front page (similar to the links on the left hand side on http://revleftpaper.host-ed.net).
I know the front page can go on and on forever just by scrolling down but it would be nice if it had a more newspaper "feel" to it.

Otherwise though I like it, nice and clear so far.

Will there be a section for a little bit of info on the team behind the paper itself (rather than just the revleft website team) or will that just fall under the "About" section?

    Keep up the good work.

I'll do some experimenting with sidebars and stuff, we could have links to the ten most popular topics, or the ten most relevant at the time (so at the moment that might include the recession, industrial action, Nepal, rise of the right, etc.).

I was thinking for the about page we could just have a few paragraphs detailing the origins of RevLeft, who we are, how we got started, and maybe we could include what we stand for, obviously here we have a few Marxist-Leninists, an anarchist and a Trotskyist so it would have to be quite broad, but we do agree on more than enough issues to work up a fairly comprehensive list of things we stand for, we're all anti-capitalist, we're all anti-fascist, we're all anti-imperialist, we all support socialism one way or another.

I look forward to seeing it.

Will this purely be in English or will there be a button to have it all in French/Spanish or whatever?

If someone can translate we will be able to have pages in different languages, certainly.

What did you think to the idea of changing the format so there are columns of text rather than writing completly left to right of the page (like you see in newspapers)?

Also, what about a glossary page that when we use certain words we can make them links to the glossary page where it will explain what that word means. I'm thinking things like "Marxism" "Communism" etc because when these are used in the general media they are said to make people think negetively and offer no explaination as to what it REALLY means.
