As was announced on the Radio Rebel Gael show, the Irish Republican Socialist Committees of North America are holding a book drive for the Republican Socialist Youth Movement. Suggested topics include Irish history, political theory, Irish language, Marxism, national liberation, Cuba, any Irish republican literature, Venezuela, books on the working class struggles and workers unions, the Russian Revolution, prison struggles, the Connolly Column in the Spanish Civil War, anti-imperialism, books on the Spanish language and so on. Peter Beresford Ellis' A History of the Irish Working Class and The INLA Deadly Divisions are especially requested. The RSYM are the youth wing of the IRSP and are active in all four provinces of Ireland. The RSYM has recently grown very quickly and are more active than ever before intervening in political struggles, as well as class and ideological struggle.
