hiking socks

For those of us in the northern hemisphere it is starting to get a little colder and we have to start wearing warmer clothes. I suggest wearing wool hiking socks. I've always loved wearing hiking socks. They don't wear out easily and they keep you very warm. You can find them for pretty cheap in stores like Marshalls and TJ Maxx. They may be last years model, but a sock's a sock so who cares.

Yeah, I have loads of wool socks. They're really nice in the winter, though they can make your feet a bit sweaty when you're inside. Wool handles moisture nicely though, so even that isn't too bad.

Manwhile, we're getting into summer here. *throws socks away*

But yeah, when it's cold, and you need socks, hiking or "all day" socks are the best. Cushioned pressure points and loose tops ftw! I've learnt to really appreciate those things now that I have to be on my feet all day.
