In a future socialist revolution, what mistakes will we have learnt from?

This is something I've been thinking about lately. Say in a future socialist revolution, what changes do you think should be made to how the worker's state should be mad, to both maximize workers' control and minimize bureaucracy, so there's less of a chance Khruschevites or Dengists can take over and return us to capitalism?

I think 21st century technology will undoubtedly a force for good as it makes direct , grassroots democracy possible. Returning back to capitalism will definitely be a threat, I think the answer to that question would depend on the cultural and geopolitical variables, however consumerism is terrible these days you know, things are only getting worse and I'd image the next revolution would take note of capitalisms failure and wouldn't think of it as a good system to return to. They'd certainly be new challenges we'd face like global warming and/or petrol scarcity. All in all I think we'll do a better job this time round but we can only speculate.

There are many mistakes made and many successes that must be studied and understood. I think one of the best examples of a party which made a mistake, learned from it and came back 100x stronger is the CP of Bulgaria from the 1900-1940s. I really think this shows the importance to self-criticize.

The incorrect tactics which occurred was going into a revolutionary situation without allies.
