starry archipielago - poem

    black magick hustla
    The sea rolls
the starry archipelago roams the sky like a million eyes of god
and a girl sits on the pearl sand besides me and asks:
“where is the line between the sea and sky?”
I stare at a turtle passing--
an Indian god carrying the earth and the sun and the sky on his back – somber looking reptile god with sad eyes and bewitched grin
    I say “ask the turtle,”
and I touch her thighs and she trembles and sighs and kisses me and
we dream naked of dreams, deposed of nightmares and illusions -
of space, knowledge, and time – just the reflection of stars splattered across the black canvas
she replies “I am happy not knowing,”
I say indeed, we are all happy for knowing nothing.

    Ignorance is bliss, eh?

    I like the turtle.

    I like the turtle.
I agree, the turtle seems to bring something special to the imagery that could not be there otherwise. I really like it!!!

I actually get real good mental imagery from this. It would make a sick painting.
