I can not stand the interventionist/nanny-liberal left for many, many reasons. They may as well be reactionaries - as though I care whether I'm being told not to drink and smoke according to God's Will or for my health - and these people have basically turned leftism from a campaign for economic equality and equal rights into a campaign to outlaw anyone acting in a way that could be interpreted as mean or unhealthy. The anti-smoking fanatics just epitomize what is wrong with the parliamentary-nanny-state left.
