What I understand from Joe_Germinal and other sources, workers were payed on a manger pay system. You are given X amount every 2 weeks, instead of being payed for each hour you worked, or by how many units you produced. From what I understand this was part of the plan economy, and could been seen as resources being send to the worker, much like planning iron to go to a steel mill. If you made over what the plan economy said that you had to produce you would get that as a bonus. Is this right? Could anyone give me some links to prove what the system was?

Does anyone know the answer or is it how I asked the question?
