In the last few days several zero-post members requested membership for this group. I have admitted them because, as far as I know, we have no policy in place to deal with this. I am opening this thread to gain clarity on the issue.
If they post racist or misogynist or homophobic spew or spam the group, bar them. For real organizations a certain amount of participation should be required. For online discussion, it's all out in the open.
As long as they're not trolls or sockpuppets they should be allowed to stay. I'm all cool for admitting new members if they're interested in our ideas.
