Here's how I think capitalism will be defeated globally:

People will start by realizing that leaders are worthless and not worth the huge salaries they get, thus we get leaderless groups that work well. Then others will join in and so forth.

Ok, greatly simplified, but please feel free to input your thought as I would love to read your ideas!

Or maybe link to ideas of others, thanks!

you should research left communism more. Left Communists aren't against "leaderless groups" (we are against the cult of the leader but that's something different)
Nor do Left Communists know how capitalism will fall. There is a general idea on what will need to be done, but we don't map out how it goes about this, what sparks this, etc. We just know to be prepared and help facilitate any and all revolutionary situations.

Look up the contridictions of capital if you want to know how it will fall

What is missing and has been absent for the past hundred or so years is a working class consciousness that is widespread throughout the class, globally as well as nationally, and is hyper critical of capitalism and can put forward a positive alternative a communist, classless, stateless human community.

Of course without this consciousness then capitalism will carry on bringing wars, environmental destruction, poverty, depression et all barbarism for workers. Capitalism will not simply collapse without a working class revolution it will go on like a bad dream which we can't wake up from.

I think there is definitely growing resentment with the current economic situation and general disillusionment with and suspicion of current leaders. However this does not automatically lead to Communism. Disillusionment with current conditions provides an opening to new ideas and different narratives to be considered however these can include fascist and nationalist views just as easily as socialist ones. There is a lot of work to be done yet to develop a revolutionary proletarian self awareness.
