I was wondering whether there is a current political organisation which takes as it's inspiration Max Shachtman? That is apart from the AWL.
Apart from the AWL in Britain and their sister group in Australia, also called the AWL I believe, there is also the US multi-tendency... er, thing, Solidarity (which includes people from Mandelites to Shachtmanites), and I think SPUSA and DSA still have some right-Shachtmanist influences. There is also the US-based journal New Politics. But in many ways, open Shachtmanism is a thing of the past.
