I was thinking that perhaps we should create a facebook and/or twitter page to spread the word about our group and the periodical. Obviously we should wait until we have the names sorted out but do you guys think this is a good idea?
Yes we have mentioned this in another thread here. It will be useful to spread the word about the periodical and it will allow a greater amount of diverse readers. This plan will be after the periodical is finished. It will be a kind of online marketing effort. This is a great chance to engage our audience in order to obtain more and more readers.
I noticed when I connected my wordpress account to my twitter and facebook accounts my monthly blog hits went through the roof. It's a really good idea for promoting the blog site.
