    it seems every damn group i find hasn't had a reply or post within six months to a year, but i have a question for the members of this group or anyone it pertains to... With all of the external influences on ourselves and our subconscious, are we truly able to determine ourselves or are we just making decisions based off of age old routines etc we have free will in choosing our actions (for the most part) but there will never be an unlimited amount of choices, they will always stem from two differing points, then grow from there.

    Hello comrade! Yes, that does seem to be an unfortunate occurrence with many groups on this site. I think that Sartre's (was anyone surprised ) brand of existential Marxism put it nicely when it argues that economic determinism (among other kinds, of course) sets the rough framework and boundary of our life, and we have enough existential freedom to fill the gaps and influence what the final picture is going to look like.
