I want to found first space colony on mars, as anarchists, with the eventual goal of permanent settlement and independence from earth. Anyone in?
I'd be up for that. Have you heard of a guy called Robert Zubrin? Something along the lines of his Mars Direct proposal would be something easily achievable by a classless society shortly after establishment. Of course, for permanent settlement a proposal like Mars to Stay (advocated by Buzz Aldrin) would probably be better, perhaps as the next step in a larger program after a Mars Direct-style mission.
