Well, since the group is rather stagnant, I thought I'd just throw a discussion in the mix. Since the changing position, or what I believe is, from the 'head' of Capitalism, isn't it logical to look towards to the new potential dominate Capitalist powers? Let's face it, the west is in decline, and the new potential powers (mainly the east) are now becoming dominate.
Well, In this case you have to look at per capita income differences. US has 48 thousand dollars a year per capita and Germany 43 thousand. India has 1 thousand per capita and Chine 4 thousand. There is a big difference as well in the economies of the west and the east. The west holds largely the richest people in the world, those 20% of the human population that consume a whooping 80% of the world's yearly produced goods. Essentially, the eastern developing countries are reliant on the consumption of the western population.
