The rising number of anti-Stalinist groups on RevLef

I'm have noted time to time new anti-Stalinist groups, popping up from time to time on RevLeft, and would like to know your guys take on.

It is their attempt to look more relevant, while lacking new progressive ideas, or they trying to gain more support by going with the flow of anti-communist propaganda?

I don't think "groups" of like 10 people matter.

It keeps them happy and safe in their gated community. Sigh of relief.

They are just sad really and unimportant; they seem to think "Stalinism" is a bigger "problem" than Capitalism which shows were their priorities lie. They also wish to appear more hip than anyone else!

They are nothing to concern ourselves about really.

We should all join the Stalinist group so that way it would ave more members the trotskyists.

Deicide has been making them. He made one which was opposed to sectarianism (which has nothing really to do with M-Lism), and M-Ls aren't allowed to join, for no real reason. Next it'll be a group about eating cheese, for instance, but for some reason they won't let us join. It's just not on.

Well, they seem to be more into fighting "STALINISUM!!!!!1111" rather than actually using their energies against the Capitalists who they seem to regard as a lesser evil.

I honestly think that we as Marxist-Leninists and Stalinists are not intellectually attacking these ultra-leftists enough. Many times on Revleft, I feel as if I am all alone in a sea of psycho utopians. We need to start pushing back against the utopian bloc that so often mocks us, insults us, and attacks us. We also need to support each other more when we are fighting back against ultra-leftists. I think it is time that RevLeft gains a stronger Marxist-Leninist presence.

Amen to that comrade, as for thease groups I doubt they are anything but pathetic attempts to provoke a tendency war, they are just threatened by the somewhat recent rise in ML activity (spearheaded by bostana, commistar and Omsk good job by the way! ) but it's a good sign we have a stronger presence here.

Maybe we should refer more M-Ls to Revleft.

I have noticed all these anti-M-L threads as well which Vladmir Makarov has correctly pointed out seems to be coinciding with a stronger and larger M-L presence (which can always be stronger). I do think it is that many ultra-leftists do indeed feel threatened... they seem to start wetting themselves at the smallest hint of "Stalinism".

I don't have too much time right now,so i can't really answer to every thread. But a lot of people are really active!Good job!

These so-called groups are simply pathetic.

I've noticed that it's usually the utopian-revisionist bloc that starts tendency wars with a dishonorable mention going to "daft punk" who thinks Trostky's book My Life is the solution to everything. He has raised Trotsky's "contributions" above those of Lenin and has made "beginner's guide to..." threads, including one about Socialism in One Country, which he is a self-proclaimed expert on.

Deicide is another reactionary that makes a "no to sectarianism" group and then bans ML's from joining but, unfortunately for him, only 3 other reactionaries have joined his clique.

There isn't really a "rising number of anti-Stalinist groups". There's a few revisionists and bourgeois apologists making 5-man clubs to cry about Marxism-Leninism.

No real discussion goes on in those groups anyway. There's no need to pay attention to them.

acid test:I had an open mind about trots, never come across left com in my life. I made a heartfelt comment on some +++++'s of Soviet achievements and was subject to a silly uncalled for rant. I learnt my lesson . If mention of pensions, hospital maternity care and education of poor/ women can produce such vexation. Normal standards of debate go out the window. So these people tend to expose themselves as hopeless bigots. Omsk is correct, ignore provocation, it is generally assumed that those who abuse do so because they have lost the argument. In short they look childish and infantile.....thank heavens not all trots are like that...........hardly surprising looking at their internal party relations. which I know intimately. The more they perform the better we look.

This. It's getting a bit irritating; whenever an M-L joins, he always seems quite distressed... but you're right, it's better to ignore them. Meh.
