    I haven't had much contact with them (different side of the world) so I'm going to do a lot of reading up on them now. Do you have any opinions of them or have you just discovered them?

    Personally I give most M-L groups the benefit of the doubt unless they are Nazbols or ultra-tankies or somesuch. Most M-L parties have minor points I disagree with but many I do agree with.

    Just browsing and I saw there program at the side:

    Fight for an Anti-War Government

    PROGRAM

    USMLO is putting forward for discussion the following proposal for the program for an anti-war government:

    1) Outlaw any and all U.S. involvement in wars of aggression and the use of force in settling conflicts between nations and peoples;

    2) All U.S. Troops Home Now;

    3) Cancel the Debts of all the countries of Asia, Africa and Latin America;

    4) Pay Reparations Now for all the crimes of slavery and all crimes of the U.S. government, present and past; and

    5) End all support for Israel and act to end the occupation of Palestine now, beginning with withdrawal to the 1967 borders.

    6) Stop the Raids and Deportations. Legalization for all now.

    7) Stop Funding War, Stop Paying the Rich, Increase Funding for Social Programs
    I agree especially with 1), 3), 5) and 6) not that they would ever happen under a Capitalist system. Now 4) is a grey area as though I agree with it in some regards (especially in regards to Native American communties) I think it may become a joke if they were, say, paying anyone for being Black/African American equating all of African descent with those who were slaves in the US when in fact there are many descendents of immigrants from Africa (like Obama's father) who generally do not suffer the same stigma as poor African Americans in, for instance, the "Black Belt" whose ancestors suffered from Slavery and whose communities still bear the marks of past wrongs towards them. I'd only support it if it goes to the right people and I would also hate it to become a purely "racial" thing. Another point is that capitalist elites may try to use it as a bribe to keep a large portion of the working class on their sides rather than turning towards revolutionary Socialism.

    Other than a few snippets I have read from that page, I can't claim to know anything about them.

    I agree with 1,3,5,6, and 7.

    We need to stop giving tax cuts to the rich, then giving them our tax dollars so they can advertise in third world countries. Instead of funding the rich we should increase Social Programs like stated. I would prefer funding School programs with my tax dollars then funding the Rich.

    Yeah true. Should have said 7) as well; not that there is a hope of this happening while the USA is a capitalist nation of course. An anti-war government it only possible in a Socialist country and even then after years in which wars will have to be fought for survival. It's why I have doubts when Socialists support governments that they presume will be anti-war or that won't give tax cuts for the rich. To use a US example; many Socialists supported Woodrow Wilson on the eve of the Great War due to his supposed anti-war stance but during his era the USA entered the war. And no Capitalist nation wishes to alienate businesses obviously.

    Because war equals business in a Capitalist Nation.

    So, yeah, all of these points, really. The highest priority would be 1), 2), 5) and 7).

    Here's something that they said I agree with:

    Whenever the U.S. organizes to commit the crime of aggression, whether it was against Korea, or Vietnam, or Iraq, Afghanistan and now Iran and Syria, it generates broad disinformation to block resistance at home and abroad. The U.S. strives to hide that it is U.S. imperialism that is the threat, its wars of aggression the crimes. Yet more criminal aggression is increasing insecurity, increasing the danger of world war.

    Yep. The U.S. government has repeatedly throughout all of its history counted on the masses being generally ignorant fo its imperialist actions.
