Rooster is one of the biggest morons on this forum; look at the arguments he has had with El Chuncho especially when he "corrects" people's grammar (including non-English speakers) despite his less than perfect grammatical skills. He is mostly a "sniper"... he'll say something like "Nazis would not have killed many Slavs" then I (or someone else) would reply and he'd be gone for good.

Then deal with him the way Stalin would of delt with people who accused him of cheating...you've got an Ice pick right?

This stupid Trotskyist thinks that Lenin came around to Trotsky's ideas. And that Lenin was a Trotskyist.

Here is the list of sources to the above claim: http://www.revleft.com/vb/showpost.p...7&postcount=90

Personally I think it is the usual giant leap of logic and much of it in no way backs up the claims he is making, however, would anyone else like to comment in the thread... I shall be doing so (even if I am busy this week, as I am moving house... hence being in this group a lot more than on the boards) but it would be good to get other M-Ls commenting.

That's actually a standard Trotskyist view. Trotsky never really made it explicit, but his view of the Bolsheviks from 1903-1917 was that they basically sucked in terms of organization until Lenin saw the light one day and realized Trotsky was right and "recognized" the need to go from a bourgeois-democratic revolution to the proletarian revolution without stopping halfway. After July 1917 the Bolsheviks thus kicked ass and Trotsky realized all was good and joined the Party.

Marxist-Leninists need to respond more to these threads otherwise the Anarchists, Left-Communists and Trotskyists will continue to spout their lies.

We are greatly out numbered but I would say throughout the entire world world a single real, active Marx-Lenininist is worth a hunderend of these "weekend revolutionaries" who believe *****ing on the Internet will bring about change. What we need is to establish anti-revisionist, relevant and most of all prolaterate run ML parties in every major capitalist country, that is how change occurs. Not only that but we we can't even count the number of communists without access to the Internet, I imagine there are many nostalgic people across former eastern bloc nations that have been haveing a fantastic time with capitalism for the last 21 years.

They all tend to jump on the bandwagon to attack Marxist-Leninists, attempting to masquerade as a single tendency. It's quite a show, I must say.

Yeah, me either. He became a little revisionist. That being said, that is still no excuse for ultra-leftists to come and attack such a noble struggle as Vietnam's fight for socialist national liberation was. They are just assholes who seem to prefer colonialism over national liberation movements.

And Krano, don't worry. I still think Ho Chi Mihn was a great revolutionary.

"NO CHINKS--NO DOGS" ...sign at entrance to a park in Shanghai. In 1945 with 1/2 the country controlled by Nationalist CHINA....Japanese troops re-armed, the French eager to reclaim their colony US just as eager to stifle that dream and replace themselves as liberators, Lord Mountbatten eager for there to be no gems lost from the imperial crown ran hither and thither.Burma, Malaya, Singapore Brunei and Dutch Indonesia. Which fire to put out 1st?? Agony!!

Soon the PEOPLES LIBERATION ARMY arrival at the border made matters oh so very clear. Not a time for Imperial squabbles. With anti-Japanese Communist Guerrillas in every country with high prestige, the unthinkable had already morphed into the unstoppable "red chinkie hordes". Atomic bombs were deemed a 'measured' response, by many, in war rooms. We have the benefit of hindsight, standing in Uncle ho's flip-flops---what would you do? QUICKLY NOW!!! THE FRENCH HAVE ALREADY UNLEASHED A TERRIBLE REPRESSION. The call for International Revolution is LAUGHABLE. British French workers did not share their masters dreams of colonial war- they had their fill of war.Homes bombed country occupied, family killed in places with unpronounceable names. Neither did they wish to emulate the Soviets, though praising them for gallantry and steadfastness. No the Vietnamese would have to press on themselves and rely on what support was forthcoming from the working class. The liberation would prove to be both bloody and protracted. Do nice people win civil wars? Do clever folk babble incessantly on what should have been done? Did Ho or indeed Chou-en-lai miscalculate ever? Badly, tough when all the cards don't come out of the box all clean with none missing. What we can say is they could provide us with a masterclass in playing the hands they got. An inexhaustible faith in their nations will to endure and triumph. In short they applied science to their problem. Some will always hate that.

You don't even need to be a "Ho Chi Minhist" to recognize their incessant idiocy. They make it sound as if the Viet Minh massacred a band of hippies meditating on a mountain. Not to mention their mockery of national liberation struggles.

Nope. I did not make that thread to be praised. The thing I wanted to talk about was the Korean War. I would especially like Ismail to join in such a conversation.
