Although I support the Stormcloaks rebellion against the Empire and the Dominion there are definite racist undertones to their movement. Another thing that must be brought up is the Forsworn. They also have a legitimate claim to the Reach but are completely oppressed by both the Empire and/or the Stormcloaks. It's also obvious that Ulfric should not be king, he is an opportunistic leech. Various documents prove this as he is considered even still during the rebellion an asset by the Dominion. His murder of Torygg (sp? The former high king) was for nothing but show and completely unnecessary. Torygg had sympathies with the national liberation movement and may actually have been instrumental in a change in Skyrim.
Traitor! Ulfric killed Torryg (in honourable combat) because it was necessary to legitimize his claim to glorious Skyrim's throne! He freed us from the chains of the Imperial pigdogs and led us to victory! His is the only rule a true son of Skyrim should recognize! But yeah, the Stormcloaks are kinda dicks
Yeah Stromcloaks are dicks, but I feel that the kind of racial nationalism that is felt is part of every fringe of a national liberation movement.
