When Atheism and Socialism collide...

As a Skeptical Atheist, I subscribe to Pat Condell's great podcast Godless Comedy. Recently Condell has been ranting about how the anti-Zionist effort is well-intentioned but has been co-opted by Arabic anti-Semites. Try floating that idea in a message board, whooo-weee, better chances of ripping a fart in Church.

Many atheist authors like Hitchens, Dawkins, etc. have been quite vocal about both sides being wrong here BECAUSE of religious tendencies. I have also yet to see Abu Mazen post his portrait of Marx or Lenin in his office, but I could be mistaken there, I know the media warps this issue terribly.

Any advice out there, fellow heathens?

In sense some anti-communist atheist have already have posted there view on Marx and Lenin. Ayn Rand little cult clames to be atheist and Bill Maher has called communist a cult around one person.

Condell rants against anti-Zionism because he himself is a Zionist, as shown through some of his videos... It is true that it's been taken on board by anti-semites, which is unfortunate but it's literally about as relevant as if I used cars to go on hit-and-run rampages. In other words, almost anything can be co-opted for dangerous purposes.

Yeah. There is an annoying group of selfish, hyper-individualist atheists who are giving us a bad name.
