    Something problematic in general (which is certainly even more problematic in the context of political activism) is people joining in groups -- and then just sitting back and not contributing a thing. Which is certainly even more stark and marked in a venue like RevLeft...

    I think the complete lack of involvement in this particular group so far -- even tho' there are at least a half-dozen members now -- bespeaks the general problem and pathology on the Left in general, and on RevLeft in particular. There is not even response to the 'seed' threads I posted, to get things going in just such an event. But there are no 'takers' so far. Even for (IMO) such an interesting subject as this one. Of course, experience and logic -- 'praxis' in fact -- tells me to simply keep slogging along here: at least one person, at some point, will engage. And then maybe the ball will start rolling...

    But it ain't auspicious.
