I bought The Long Struggle of Eritrea for Independence and Constructive Peace about two years ago but never bothered reading it until recently, and it really sparked my interest in the Eritrean national liberation movement. I recommend this book for all who are interested in African People's War in practice. Here are other books on my to-read list: Against All Odds: A Chronicle of the Eritrean Revolution with a New Afterword on the Postwar Transition Behind the War in Eritrea Building a New Nation: Collected Articles on the Eritrean Revolution (1983-2002) Eritrea: Never Kneel Down Nationalism and Self Determination in the Horn of Africa Taking on the Superpowers: Collected Articles on the Eritrean Revolution (1976-1982) The Challenge Road: Women and the Eritrean Revolution
