True Socialist Countries in History

    These are the ones of which I could think. What others are there? Also, do you think Venezuela could be on the path to true socialism through its Bolivarian Circles?

    None of these were socialist. The Paris Commune and the early USSR (until degeneration and capitalist counter-revolution in the 1930's) were the only dictatorships of the proletariat, which is the stage between capitalism and socialism.
