Asperger's And Worried About Human Nature

Looking back on my life and the difficulties I had growing up, my intense interests in radical left politics, and how everyone considers me "strange" I've figured out I probably have Asperger's.

I actually stressed and worried about whether I had Asperger's for a long time but recently realized that since it's not really affecting my life at this point as I got lots of friends who mostly don't know about Asperger's but appreciate eccentricity, I have nothing to worry about as far as my own personal life.

BUT this thought occured to me. In the past against any argument about human nature I'd bring myself up. If someone said humans naturally desire wealth and power I'd say "I'm human, I just want a comfortable life and power in my own life not over other people."

But knowing my own personal nature is different from the norm how am I to know that the general nature of humans doesn't prevent the realization of socialism and communism? What if there's something inherent about the way most people's brains are wired that lends to this kind of mentality?

For sure there are neurotypical revolutionaries, even most revolutionaries but it's not that cut-and-dry. "Stalin" clearly had a power lust in spite of claiming to represent socialism. Also, it's possible that some people who fall under the "Neurotypical" rubric would still not have this lust for wealth and power while a few Aspies still do.

I really hope somebody refutes my fears.

Humans, even non-neurotypical ones, are socialised into society. A person with Asperger's who grew up and lived in ancient Rome would never develop an interest in theoretical physics, although it is entirely possible that their Asperger's would manifest in some other way.
