Hi just a question. Would the feminists here, particularly female feminists, consider a trans-girl as really woman and their comrade-sister? And what positive and constructive role do you think trans-women can play in the feminist movement in general? Thanks.
Male feminist here. As communists of all kinds, we all accept LGBT (that includes transgender people IIRC) people for who they are and what gender they feel they best identify as. I think trans-women can play a crucial role in getting the working class (particularly the feminist bloc, where many comrades would likely be found) to accept trans-gender people and treat them as their equals. Institutionalised sexism oppresses all women, whether they were born biologically female or not.

As a feminist, I stand for empowerment of all womyn (trans and cis) as well as other oppressed and exploited peoples.
