Buying Kautsky Books

  1. Zeus the Moose

This is primarily directed towards folks who are looking for Kautsky books in English, but I've been able to buy a couple of Kautsky's books (through Amazon) from a group called Kessinger Publishing: http://www.kessinger.net/ They seem to specialise in reprints of old books, so aside from finding an old copy of a Clark Kerr edition from the early 20th century (and I do have one of these, so they are out there), this might be people's best bets for actually getting hard text versions of Kautsky books.

Personally, I don't like staring at screens reading for a long time, and am a bit of a bibliophile, so if anyone in this group is either of those, it might be something to look into.
  2. Die Neue Zeit
    Die Neue Zeit
Did you buy from Amazon Raymond Meyer's modern translation of The Road to Power: Political Reflections on Growing into the Revolution? It's funny that the subtitle wasn't included in the original translation.

My copy of The Road to Power is from Kessinger Publishing. It's a reprinting of a copy by Samuel A. Block publishing from 1909.

@ JR: see, I'm not alone

    This looks good
  5. Tower of Bebel

Occasionally the CWI's bookshop has a book nobody wants. But I read most by going ot the library.

Perhaps Zeus can develop the habit of printing off the sections of my work as they come, as other comrades have?

[In spite of the fact that most sections are revised even after the e-mails are sent - - the bulk of what I'm trying to convey is there already. Apologies are in order if for some reason you're not comfortable with printing them.]

Same here! So Q, you're definitely not alone, now we're already three.

I know you said "in English" but just for fun: In the very unlikely case that somebody looks for cheap Kautsky books in German, you'll find loads of them here: http://www.booklooker.de/app/result....n&oldBooks=on&&
