What do you use?? I use Sidux(debian sid with extra patches) and slackware, i love slackware so easy to learn how to use your system but a ***** to keep on top of the dependencies.
Ubuntu
ubuntu on my main laptop, jolicloud on my netbook because of the GMA 500...
I tend to distro-hop, but I always come back to OpenSUSE.
Mandriva on my current laptop, Fedora on my old one. Been trying to get my courage up for Arch, but I've got a lot of learning to do before that.
I might look into Arch once I fill in some of the holes in my knowledge with the help of college. But overall, I think I might look into Slackware first.
Fedora Goddard as well as Ubuntu 10.04 (for some pesky installations that are harder on Fedora)
Sorry double post
I usually use Gentoo when I have the time to install it. Right now I'm using Kubuntu 10.04. I used to hate KDE, but they have really stepped up their game in the past few years. Plus Ubuntu seems kinda shaky on 64-bit.
Ubuntu because of the hardware support. I'd go for Trisquel if I had 100% free hardware.
cat /etc/lsb-release DISTRIB_CODENAME=lucid DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="Ubuntu 10.04.4 LTS" DISTRIB_ID=Ubuntu DISTRIB_RELEASE=10.04
Run a media server in my apartment on Arch and dual boot my desktop with Windows 7 and Arch.
Currently OpenSUSE 13.1
