Ok, just finished this book.. if you don't know it, this is the publishers page. I was actually expecting something a lot more fanatical. What I found was a fairly well brought forward argument for the freedom of Ireland, which was definately not sectarian or even really nationalistic. It seems the author, much like all of us I assume, hates the british goverment, but not its people and clearly doesn't have a romantic view of the irish goverment either. Although much of the book is taken up by his personel history and views on colonialisim, rather than his own experiences in the PIRA. Although, it is low on offering any actual political solutions to irish or worldwide problems.
