    Bechdel's Law

Alison Bechdel, cartoonist and author of Dykes to Watch Out For, has an interesting observation on movies — a little test she applies to them. It's a very short checklist, viz:
    1. Does it have at least two women in it,

    2. Who [at some point] talk to each other,

    3. About something besides a man.

its a very interesting test, and amazingly many films fail. what do u think of the test? what was the last film u saw that met the test?

Yes, what do the results even mean? What does "passing the test" even imply?

It's so bad that we are in the 21st century and so many blockbuster films don't have two female characters who have a conversation about something other than men.
