I posted this in here to avoid the likes of Red Dave and Wolf Larson. I noticed that many of the openly technocratic users label themselves as ACT. How does being a technocrat lend to anarcho-communism or vice versa? How does ACT differ from other branches of technocracy?
My understanding is that there are two sides to the technocracy coin - technical and democratic - and that the technocratic design does not specify what's stamped on the democratic face, so to speak. Technocracy is about control of technology, not people. Therefore it was not necessary (for myself at least) to abandon anarchist communism in order to embrace technocracy.
