March 17, 2010 2-4pm, on the corner of 4th and Pine (downtown seattle) There will be a "jobs rally" held by the seattle-king county building & construction trades council and the m.l. king country labor council to promote job creation in Seattle, which has a 35% unemployment rate in the construction industry.
a few hundred trade unionists turned out in downtown seattle. McGinn got heckled a lot, Constantine was cheered for. It ended up being a pretty positive rally with a good amount of energy from the participants.
