What do you think of their filosofy? I love their old tracks and both old and new lyrics. What do you think about their thoughts on race?
What do you mean exactly?
What do you think of theyre perspectives on race and politics and do you have arguments against any of theyre thoughts?
While I sometimes disagree with how they express their criticisms, their feelings are legitimate given historical and modern circumstances. They still have a class analysis, they are anti-capitalist and anti-imperialist. They don't hate white people, but at the same time, they rip racist (overt or otherwise) whites. For example, I've been listening to that Ridin' song with David Banner, Talib Kweli and Dead Prez. They say "crackas" a lot, but shits real in that song.
Dead Prez are atheist. That's a positive for me. Rare to find that in Rap.
Revolutionary but Gangsta Grillz. Who's got this. I think it owns.
I got it. Amazing as usual!
It's got good songs.
I'm listening to Let's Get Free right now actually, love dead prez, they actually helped start me down the road to political consciousness back in the day (along with The Coup).
They seem to be nondescript socialists and black nationalists. They have some great songs and some not so great ones. I enjoy them.
Let's Get Free is a great album, I'm going to be checking out their other albums momentarily.
