What can we do as 'kids' ?

Something that really annoys me is that there is basically nothing we can do to actually help. I mean, moaning and complaining to each other over the internet doesn't break down social barriers or fund a revolution. But as miners there's practically nothing we can do.
I tired to set up a sort of communist group and my school, but that didn't work because 1. we started getting threatened by a bunch of brainless/brainwashed cappie's kids and 2. I moved schools. So the whole thing pretty much went out the window and now me and my old comrades rarely speak except on email. I try to organize stuff (politically attacking school's resident posh snob) but usually we end up chickening out. I think I'm the only one with my heart set on doing something but there's no way I'm even gonna attempt to organize even a school revolution singlehandedly.
So basically what I'm asking is what can we do as comrades short of sitting around moaning and complaining. But what can one do if one isn't even legally allowed to drive yet? I suppose I crave street riots and stuff (see burning cars thread) but I know that violence just brings more violence - I'm not quite stupid enough to actually start a riot.
But I'm feeling kinda pathetic here. Help me out?

Must admit am tempted. Problem is not enough people to riot with me. It would like 3 against 100-and-something. :-( Any ideas for recruiting more peeps?

I actually got almost the entire middle-school to join the communist party that I founded, just by being passionate about it.

How did you do it? The one time me and a friend were being proud and open about our communism we received a bunch of very suspicious looks and nervous glances from our peers coupled with an awkward silence. :-( Then my friend started explaining all this (rather loudly, as is her style) in front of this girl who has a reputation for being a bit crazy. I didn't realize the danger or the situation until the girl jumped up and started screaming something along the lines of 'communism wrecked my country' etc, etc. I had to jump up and give a small dose of physical force to stop a Comrade vs Crazy Chinese Girl punch-up ensuing. Any ideas on how to escape a situation like this in the future? :-(

Explain that China was in no way Communist and how there has never been a Communist country should be used in the beginning of the explanation.

Well, I basically used super-gradual mass education over 2 years. What went wrong was that after awhile, there were some schisms, purges, fights, and everything collapsed.

You could try to avoid talking communism around any east-asians, east europeans, [rich]hispanics until you have a sure way to make sure that they dont do anything crazy.

My school is very multicultural. I told a Muslim friend of mine that I was communist and she gave me a funny look then said she was descended from the last Javanese king. :-0 talk about a fair-weather friend!
Our entire school is practically overrun by Asians, not being racist or anything, but it's strange that whites are the minority and most of them are only first generation Australian. Saying the wrong thing in the wrong setting would be like saying - correction, screaming - BOMB in and airport. :-0

I essentially avoid talking to my peers about politics. At school I had good discussions with my history teacher but never with an actual student.

I agree with you Wolves of Paris, it's just futile to try and lecture my peers on equality and politics because they don't think it's "cool" or just couldn't give a shit, they're too preoccupied with fashion or their Xbox or other "important" stuff.

They're so obsessed with all this pointless crap they wouldn't have a freaking clue what's going on beyond their iPhone screens! The people who actually tell them that that stuff's 'cool' are the people who are trying to sell the bloody things! Typical, isn't it?

Sorry I've been gone guys, I was on vacation away from a computer.

I know as a minor, it can be frustrating not being able to go out and be as active as you would want to be. I myself am old enough to drive but the court said I can't until I'm 18. Anyways you have to pay for insurance and where I worked at went under so I'm unemployed. But what I try doing is spreading Marxism among our peers. Remember these are going to be the same people you're going to have to deal with when you get out of high-school, so you might as well get them while they're young.
That doesn't mean you should be shouting "Workers of the World UNITE!" from the roof of your school though, if I've learned anything it's that people you don't know don't like it when you try and shove stuff down their throats. I don't tell people I'm a communist or try to teach them about Marxism until I actually get to know somebody. I think this is much more efficient.
Whenever there is a discussion of economics, philosophy, politics, etc, etc, don't start off by saying your a communist or something. If you can avoid saying words like socialist, communist, Marxist, Leninism, etc, etc, it would be good because they hold very negative meaning in our capitalist society. I've come to realize that people(at least where I lived in ghetto neighborhoods) generally like our ideas, so once they learn a little about socialism they might except that socialism is the way to go.
Also the revolution is inevitable so you've got to teach yourself discipline. If you act too soon it could be counter-productive and create more hospitality towards us.
So basically all we can do right now is RECRUIT!

Sounds like my life story =(. I try to teach some cappies about communism but half of them go off their trolley when I even mention the word communism and saying the usual "Stalin killed between 50 and 100 million people how could you support such a MONSTER". My face usually looks like this: -_- the whole time there telling me this. But I have gained some supporters but there is not a single person in the school who is as passionate as me. There is also a problem because most of the proletariat kids at my school couldn't give a shit and the ones that actually do want to learn something are just frustratingly stupid. I'll have to stick with trying to convert the bourgeoisie.

what? A communist party at a school? Just get involved with an already existing organisation, read up on theory. Don't go burning cars and starting riots just for the hell of it.

ha. some of my friends and I are communist. but mostly the entire high school just calls us racist and then says that communism never works. they're so brainwashed in florida I don't even really know how I started with my communist beliefs. I just know that someone that I recently found out was faking it for the support he will receive from the left got me to actually start calling myself communist. I guess I've always been far to left. my entire middle school except for me and my friends spoke creole as a main language so I had basically no way of communicating with my school about communism.

I live in the area around Detroit so its not that bad but its the part that is brainwashed. Due to my "Socialist" teacher they now thinks this is Communism. But that's exactly what Communist Practice is! A small elite exploit the labour of its farmers and workers, so as to earn a profit for themselves! Much worse then capitalism.
