    KSS had no succes in the Europarliament elections , so it will finally support us (SZM) more , our and their chairmen will meet this weekend. Finally we´ll have discussion forum and maybe hope for more actions and rallies in the future. (Crap , I´m 16 , i wonder how will I travel around 150 kilometres

    Like I said in another group;
    I used to be in the Communist Party of Ireland, but I left figuring they're based in Dublin and I live in the south, and that I'll be joining the Worker's Communist Party of France, in France, when I move next year.

    After taking a trip to the Connolly bookstore, I was motivated again to join the CPI, or even the IRSP, but there's really no point seeing I'll be gone in a year.

    In Russia, I support and plan to join AKM (about 5000 members) and RCYL(b) youth groups. As for general parties, I guess I support the Russian Communist Workers Party- Revolutionary Party of Communists (RCWP-RPC), of which RCYL(b) is the unofficial youth group. I mention it quite often in the articles that I post. Now, judging from everything that I have read about RCWP-RPC so far, they are very decent and are probably the only anti-nationalist, a real Marxist-Leninist workers party in Russia right now. However, they are not as progressive socially as they could be in some fields (like homophobia, which is common in Russia, but still anti-nationalist, anti-racist, anti-religion, anti-KPRF, anti-reformist/revisionist, very democratic, etc.) so that is why I am looking more at youth groups. In Germany, I agree with Rjevan.

    Wiki about all of them: AKM, RCYL(b), RCWP-RPC
    Cool. I met a Russian comrade at a seminar about Bologna a year and a half ago, I believe he was with the RCYL (b).

    Belgium, Worker's Party of Belgium (Partij Van De Arbeid (PVDA) in Dutch)
    Comrade, will you be going to the Camp for Peace in July?

    Hehe, if you're an active communist, you'd better get used to travelling a lot. I hope things will go well.

    Like I said in another group;
    Are they the hoxhaist party in France? Also, what do you think of the Pôle de Renaissance Communiste en France?

    I don't think they're officially Hoxhaist, but it does say they support(ed) the Party of Labour of Albania, so I guess. I'm not a Hoxhaist (yet anyways), but judging from themselves and their website they seem pretty real and knowledgeable about Marxism-Leninism.

    I don't know much about Pole de Renaissance, but judging from their site they seem pretty good. PCOF just seem better.

    The U.S. affiliate to the WFDY is the Young Communist League, which is tied to the Communist Party USA and unfortunately engages in the same Democratic Party tail-ism as the CPUSA
    Where is the WFDY endorsing the US democrats? The WFDY has attacked the Obama presidency fiercly numerous times in their statements since his presidency and dont hold any illusions about his "change". The YCL USA membership is mostly historical, as is the membership of the youth of the FREMILO (Mozambique) and MLPA (Angola)

    for example;

    I wasn't saying that the WFDY is a liberal organization, I was only talking about the YCL USA.

    I don't know much about the other WFDY affiliates, aside from the fact that the Cuban YCL is a member, so they can't be all bad. : P Still, I stand by my statement that American comrades should avoid the Young Communist League USA.

    I've heard rumors for a long time that Workers World is basically out of money and their recent fundraising campaign seems to reiterate that point. Maybe they'll merge with the Green Party.

    Actually, WWP is doing pretty well, but who isn't having financial problems right now? I know I am, big time. I can't even contribute to the campaign at the moment, it's that tough.

    Well, I would like to see you or a Workers World Party representative address a few things.
    • Why did you endorse a capitalist candidate for the 2008 presidency?
    • Why don't you run candidates anymore?
    • Why do you have absolutely no activist presence at all? Where are the banners and signs at demonstrations? Where was Workers World during the Bank of America protests? The Chicago Windows and Doors occupation? The teachers strikes in California?
    • Why doesn't Troops Out Now Coalition promote Workers World Party? Are they organizing a front group with Troops Out Now Coalition, or are they actually promoting their party? As of the present, I have yet to see Workers World presence at any protests. Meaning, I've seen them pass out their paper, but that's it. Why is that?

    I haven't discussed the McKinney issue yet, it's one I definitely need to
    have addressed. As for running candidates, it's a question of allocating resources efficiently. And the activist presence is there, usually under one of the groups like Bail Out The People, etc. I'm heavily involved in the preparations for the upcoming G 20, and right now the People's Summit is going on in Detroit, etc. I'm still a very new candidate and don't have many of the answers yet. Check back with me later, and I'll fill you in the best I can; right now I'm studying Marcy and Goldstein's work, thats my main task aside from the G 20, but the McKinney question is a good one.
    I do know that the split hurt the WWP and they/we are still rebuilding, I imagine that is behind some of what you're wondering about.

    Marcy has some great stuff, but I advise you to read his works from after the Socialist Workers Party split. Before that, he propagates a very odd form of Trotskyist elitism.

    The split was very justified. Hopefully, Workers World will think twice about rejecting democratic centalism in their party next time.

    I haven't read anything from his SWP days yet. I don't believe any of it is on the web, where did you find it? I'd like to read it just to see where he originally came from politically.
    As for the split...there's at least four different explanations for it, obviously some know the truth, but whatever it is, it happened and it's over. I don't know the truth behind it, or maybe I do but can't say with certainty which story is the correct one. At least both parties have moved on and don't badmouth each other, which is good. Several WWP oldtimers speak very highly of those who left and I hope the PSL founders do as well for those
    who stayed. The loss of some great talent and of course ANSWER certainly is felt though.

    ...And really, since neither of us were involved in the split, having come to our respective parties years after the fact, it's not an issue we can really delve into with much authority. It would be great if we came back together though, as the Workers Party of World Socialist Liberation?? :
    Yeah, right. :-)

    It's odd, I recall Kassad (I think) saying much the same thing earlier this year about parties he'd emailed. I wrote the FRSO (Fight Back) around March and they never wrote back, although it was a theoretical question and not about joining. Is it horrible organization or just laziness on the part of these folks? It's not terribly difficult to respond to an email. Spark ignored two theoretical questions as well but considering their secretive methods I wasn't surprised about that. :-)

    Am I wrong or is Hoxhaism just standard M-L plus "Albania was pretty well-run"? I'd consider the latter inconsequential even if I disagreed

    Hoxhaists say Mao was a revisionist. I don't agree with that viewpoint. There's some differences such as that.
