I'm looking to read up on some works by Stalin. What would you guys in the M-L group recommend? I'm leaning towards Foundations of Leninism, for starters.
Stalin's work on the national question is his primary contribution to marxism-leninism. http://www.marxists.org/reference/ar...ks/1913/03.htm http://www.marxists.org/reference/ar...ades-index.htm Here you can find a lot of works by Stalin.
Which book is that?
One of his most important works, imo, is Economic Problems of the USSR.
Marxism and the National Question.
I've tried hard to find one of Stalin's works in Dutch here in Belgium, but without succes I can't even find the book "Another View of Stalin" by Ludo Martens, which is a Belgian book.

Hmm, they sold it at the Marxist University in December last year, but I had already bought other stuff. I guess they're less eager to advertise it everywhere these days. It can also be ordered from EPO: http://www.epo.be/uitgeverij/boekinf...=9789064457289
Trotskyism or Leninism is totally awesome. But Stalin mainly wrote poetry. Very good poetry apparently.
He only wrote poetry in his youth i think. Anyway Stalin was primarily a man of action, so to get the best view of him its probably better to read a biography or history of the USSR, rather than some of his theoretical writing.
