I know there was an article on this not long ago, but are we being expelled from the SP in the Netherlands?
I think, just like with the case of Die Linke, individuals are often expelled by local sections.
At the moment we've not been expelled. The party leadership faces stiff opposition from active members and branch leaderships that all oppose this maneuvre. While it is certainly not impossible we'll still be expelled, it is unlikely because right now the party has bigger concerns than us: it needs to come up with a serious answer to the crisis. Thusfar they've internally come up with two proposals but both were shot down by the developing events. The financial section in latest proposal was actually largely implemented by the government in the "social agreement". The party thusly has no answers to this crisis, while the members are demanding them. Right now they're deflecting attention away by focusing on the european elections, but after that this will be on the table once more. We can only prepare ourselves on possible next steps by the leadership of the party.
