What is your favorite classical music composer mine is Johann Sebastian Bach With his Prelude in G Major BWV 1007 The best Cello suite in History
Phillip Glass is okay. I like his music for the Qatsi trilogy, especially Pruit Igoe.
Beethoven. Yes. Beethoven.
Mozart and Beethoven
Well Mozart and Beethoven as have already been mentioned. But also Schostakovich, I find his works to be extremely interesting and quite complex. Not to mention that I think the music sounds good obviously
Been listening to much Philip Glass recently, but also some more oldschool classical like bach, liszt, and pachelbel
Scarlatti
Sergei Prokofiev - not sure he passes for Classical as he wrote long after the Classical period.
Heitor Villa Lobos. The best guitar music (and not only) composer of all time
either Robert W Smith or Richard Wagner
Shostakovich. His music is ugly in a really beautiful way.
Vivaldi. He manages to take minor keys and make a music that is anything but dreary, it brings more hopeful feeling.
chuck mangione
Carl orrf mother fucker
Niccolo Paganini.
Tchaikovsky, without a doubt. I can't believe nobody's mentioned him!
John Cage Some others I love: Frank Zappa, Harry Partch, John Zorn, Jonathan Harvey, Karlheinz Stockhausen, La Monte Young, Morton Feldman, Steve Reich Experimental & avant-garde classical is one of my favourite genres of music. I'm not at all into classical from before about 1900, though. Most of that stuff I find quite boring.
