¡Salud camaradas! Your internationalism really moves me. Thank you very much for your interest in the Venezuelan "process". You know that our weakness comes from the cultural hegemony of the bourgeoisie. That's why I think some comrades here in RevLeft are somehow a little naive in taking for granted what they read or hear from the mass media about Chavez. I won't discuss on Chavez's reformism or whether the Bolivarian movement is a "National Liberation Front" or not. I just wanted to tell you that there has never been a more democratic government than the Bolivarian government ever in my country. Forgive me for being so late. God bless you.
Hola Comrade. I am firmly in support of Chavez. I've seen several documentaries showing the great things he did for Venezuela. He is a great man and a great Communist. I hope the Bolivarian Revolution lasts forever! There will never be a leader as great as Hugo Chavez in Latin America. May Communism and the PSUV rule forever.
President Chavez is the leader of a new generation of anti-capitalist, democratic socialists in Latin America. these include the presidents of chile, bolivia, and brazil and also, as always, the castro brothers. I respect them and believe that they are making a profound change in Latin America!`
La revolucion de los trabajadores tendrá éxito!
is that grammatically correct?
While I agree that he is a great leader and a great man, I wouldn't jump to proclaiming that there will never be a greater leader in Latin America. I say this because their may be someone in the future who is even better. We don't know what the future may bring. He is a great man, and is very admirable, but never say never.
If chavez inspires other latin americans to become greater and more prominent revolutionaries then he is already fulfilling a vital role.
I got an email today off the handsoffvenezuela group and they informed me that Chavez has just nationalised the Airports. Good stuff!
Wonderful...
