I've read the History of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. When you've read that book it's quite clear who Trotsky was too: he wasn't even a Bolshevik, he only joined the Party because he knew Communism would prevail. He was an adversary of Lenin, and planned, or at least called for, an assassination of Comrade Stalin.
