I just would have assumed that the PSL would be really hostile to a Trotskyist organization, and that he CWI would be hostile to an ML organization. I was in a similar situation a few years ago.
Could you be more specific? I can't find any contradictions per se in their programs. There's things that might not fit together great like the PSL "we stand for defense of the existing workers' states" vs. SA's "We believe the dictatorships that existed in the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe were perversions of what socialism is really about." But really this is a trivial difference, considering that Eastern Europe hasn't claimed to be socialist in 20 years, and SA's orientation is still anti-imperialist.
How'd you get passed the major ideological differences in their program?
well I'm at-large as a PSL-er because they don't have a presence in my state, so beyond promoting Liberation (the newspaper) there's not much to do. The CWI does have a presence here though so I "enlisted." I mean, they're both doing pretty similar things.
Hey comrade, so, you are both a member of the CWI and the PSL? I'm curious how that works
