Cmde, I posted up a video of CPI Gen Sec. on TV3 here - http://www.revleft.com/vb/cpi-gen-se...319/index.html Check it out if you get a minute JM
Yeah, Connolly Books in Temple Bar.
Interesting interview. Is it Connolly books the one btw?
Sorry for taking a while to get back to you cmde. Forward isn't bad, the CPI don't have a lot of information online. There's plenty of great books and party documents available in the bookshop if you ever get a chance to call in.
Interview with Gen. Sec. of CPI - http://www.communistpartyofireland.ie/c-solidaire.html
I was a member of the IRSP for 4 years but I think the biggest difference is organisation. The IRSP is scattered, disorganised and has major problems with party-army relations. They of course have a good ideology and I agree with much of what they say, with perhaps exception with the national question. I don't accept there is a Protestant working class or a "PUL" (sic) community. This article would be closest to my position - http://inniu.wordpress.com/the-incom...en-and-orange/ The CP are strong industrially and have a good base to develop from. There are also strong anti-revisionist currents, particularly amongst younger members, but there are also anti-revisionists on the party executive.
Yeah, I'm a member of CPI and CYM. We're not big, but we're strong industrially. There's a strong anti-revisionist current too.
Cmde, you should join the CPI.
