  1. No supporter of the FARC-EP (myself included) has ever given "uncritical" support but we recognize that the FARC-EP is still a progressive movement fighting against the forces of imperialism with the objective of establishing socialism and radically changing the structure of Colombian society. I and other posters have consistently shown in the thread that the FARC-EP does have mass support and is not on the verge of total military collapse, which is what you have asserted for the duration of the thread without bothering to provide any evidence to show that your assertions are actually rooted in reality.

I think your basic position stems from the fact that you don't have a sound understanding of what revolutionary war is really like. You have a set of preconcieved ideas of how revolutionaries should behave and how a revolution should take place, and so when you find that reality does not correspond to this set of ideas, you find it difficult to support a revolutionary movement fighting in the developing world. Please, do some reading, read about the history of past revolutionary movement such as the CCP so you can rid yourself of these infantile illussions and understand that the struggle for state power is a difficult process which will always encounter certain obstacles, but it ultimately a progressive struggle which is necessary to develop socialism and abolish oppression.
  2. You're not really a communist, are you? Why are you so critical of the FARC-EP? All your arguments in that thread have been destroyed.
