  5. at the risk of sounding pretentious, the book is written in the style it is (which i agree makes it a difficult book to stick with) as it evokes the emotion in the reader that holden is feeling in the tale,

    do you not think, i wouldnt read it again its not enjoyable but im glad i have read it
