Whilst I can understand getting upset because people are being dismissive about something you care about, I think that comparing people's dismissiveness to the idea of animal liberation and their dismissiveness towards the real struggles of other people is fucked. I don't expect anyone to be "inclusive" towards other people but let's remember that you jumped down someone's throat for looking forward to their Christmas dinner and having the gall to not apologise... Also why should people be expected to attempt sensitivity when discussing dietary preference or political position? PS. Animal liberation is stupid.
