Regarding your comment on the blog: Fair enough. Just making the point really that such a thing as a 'middle layer' exists, which - while not a class - is closely tied to political economy.
Speaking of Left Unity, check out my e-mail just now. On your blog: middle layers? You do realize, comrade, that not everyone in the two professional occupations you mentioned actually belongs to a "middle layer," however defined, don't you?
